About this Event
The Nico Stillman Foundation was founded in 2022 by his best friends, lovely girlfriend, and beloved aunt. We're an LA-based organization expanding somewhere new for the first time, so I'd love to tell you a little bit about the man, the myth: Nico Stillman.
Nico was originally from St. Louis, MO and then created a life in LA by attending the University of Southern California. There, he made his mark by constantly bringing people together, exploring new business ventures in the entertainment industry, and serving as a role model to many, including me.
In short, to know Nico, was to love Nico. And I was so lucky to consider him a big brother. He was fearlessly loyal, eternally positive, and epitomized what it meant to follow your dreams.
Nico was diagnosed with stage IV colorectal cancer in March 2021. Despite understanding the difficulty of the battle he faced, he never stopped smiling and reminding himself, and those around him, that every day is a gift. In his final days, he surrounded himself with his loved ones and countless friends at a home that allowed him to look out from the deck and be greeted with a beautiful ocean view. It's difficult to put into words the love and togetherness that we all felt by joining him in that home and spending his last few days with him. It was an honor to be his friend and it's an honor to help carry his legacy forward.
The Nico Stillman Foundation was created to improve the life, health, and happiness of people with colorectal cancer by funding and empowering researchers, educators, and advocates. We're so excited to include you in our journey as we aim to create a world where all people diagnosed with cancer can thrive.
