About this Event
Take a step into the Newburgh of yesteryear with the Annual Candlelight Tour of historic homes and buildings on Sunday, December 14, from 12-5 pm!
For over forty years, the Historical Society of Newburgh Bay and the Highlands has organized self-guided holiday tours of historic homes, churches, and buildings in and around Newburgh. The Annual Candlelight Tour is one of the most anticipated Newburgh events of the year and the Historical Society's biggest fundraiser.
This year's tour will feature a combination of public and private spaces, including beautiful homes, restored churches, new construction and some of Newburgh's most cherished landmarks. And, of course, the Captain David Crawford House, authentically decorated in a nineteenth-century style with fruit, dried flowers and evergreens, will serve as a starting point and centerpiece.
Advance tickets are $35 each ($40 at the door on the day of the event), and online ticket sales close on Saturday, December 13 at 12 Noon! You can also come and purchase tickets at the Crawford House in person or over the phone (using cash, check or credit card) on Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday afternoons (2-6 pm) or during our Sunday open hours (1-4 pm) up to the day of the tour.
