About this Event
Thousands of young people in New Mexico are currently being trafficked, often hidden in plain sight. The New Mexico Human Trafficking Experience is an immersive, educational event designed to help our community better understand how trafficking happens and how lives can be restored.
During this guided walkthrough, you will step into the fictional story of a young victim whose journey is based on real experiences. As the story unfolds, you will face moments of decision, offering a deeper understanding of the complex realities many victims navigate every day.
The experience takes place inside a transformed historic Albuquerque bank, thoughtfully designed with scenes, sound, and storytelling elements that bring the journey to life. Along the way, you will see how vulnerability is exploited, how intervention changes outcomes, and how healing becomes possible.
This is not just an educational event. It is an opportunity to see what often goes unseen, challenge common assumptions, and leave with a deeper understanding of how awareness and compassion can change lives.
Due to the sensitive nature of the content, this experience is recommended for ages 16 and older.
