The Neuroscience of Trauma and the Impact on Midwifery Care

A four-part series deepening understanding for our own trauma and that of our clients.
About this Event

Celeste Kersey, Midwife and Resonant Healing Practitioner will be offering this new series in 2025. Over the course of these 4 three hour sessions we will focus on increasing our understanding of how our brains are impacted by trauma and ways we might find more healing, resilience, and care for ourselves. This will allow us to be in satisfying relationships with our patients/clients and improve our quality of care, our effectiveness in communication and to find fulfillment in our work. Our brains heal when we are received by warmth and care from someone who hears and sees us. We will have ample time to practice and experience what it’s like to be received with warmth.
