About this Event
Join The Neighborhood Improvement Program!
The town hall will provide attendees with an in-depth look at the Neighborhood Improvement Program, which offers grant-funded home repairs at no cost to eligible homeowners. The program is designed to support long-term residents by addressing critical home improvement needs and preserving the integrity of the community.
Eligible repairs may include roof replacements, impact windows and doors, electrical safety upgrades, air conditioning and water heater replacement, landscaping, fencing, flood mitigation, and more.
To qualify, applicants must own and reside in their home within the 79th Street Corridor, have lived in the property for at least two years, meet income guidelines, and be current on property taxes, among other requirements.
During the Town Hall, attendees will:
- Learn about program eligibility and application requirements
- Receive guidance on preparing necessary documents
- Ask questions directly to program representatives
- Connect with partners supporting the initiative
Residents are encouraged to come prepared to learn how they can take advantage of this opportunity to improve their homes and strengthen the community.
