Εν όψει του διημέρου residency των The Necks στην Αθήνα (28 & 29 Απριλίου), πραγματοποιείται ακρόαση της τελευταίας τους δουλειάς, Disquiet, στον χώρο του Underflow Record Store & Art Gallery.Σε περιβάλλον εστιασμένης ακρόασης, στο ηχοσύστημα του Scenius, το έργο θα παρουσιαστεί σε ενότητες, ακολουθώντας τη δομή του, με σύντομα διαλείμματα ενδιάμεσα.
Έναρξη 18:00 — ανοιχτή ροή καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια.
Το bar του χώρου θα είναι διαθέσιμο καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια της ακρόασης.
Οι The Necks, ένα από τα σημαντικότερα σχήματα της σύγχρονης αυτοσχεδιαστικής μουσικής, δραστηριοποιούνται από το 1987 και έχουν αναπτύξει μια μοναδική προσέγγιση στη διάρκεια, τον χρόνο και τη συλλογική δημιουργία.

Ahead of The Necks’ two-night residency in Athens (April 28 & 29), a listening session of their latest work, Disquiet, will take place at Underflow Record Store & Art Gallery.
Presented in a focused listening setting and on a sound system curated by Scenius, the work will unfold in parts, following its structure, with short breaks in between.
The session begins at 18:00 and remains open throughout.
The bar will be open during the session.
The Necks, one of the most important groups in contemporary improvised music, have been active since 1987, developing a unique approach to duration, time and collective creation.
