The Namby Pamby
The Namby Pamby is carving out an earnest niche with their upcoming sophomore album The Birds Aren’t Migrating Like They’re Supposed To. The new sound is a resourceful response to life’s most tender moments: universal themes including love, losing, nature, family, and what it means to be part of a community built off of a cohesive combination of twang, soft-rock, and jazz influences. The project was recorded locally with all-analog engineer Jason Davis at Off The Cuff Sound.

American University’s funky alt-rock band, Berra is the project of Roba Djalleta, originally started in Atlanta, Georgia, now based in Washington DC.
grlztoy
Theo is an engineering student who likes to sing and play guitar, and Molly is a law student who likes to drum. In 2023, after a single jam session, they formed grlztoy and released their EP, green! in the same year. grlztoy is an indie band based in the DMV.
