The Myth of a Safety Net: when 'help' isn't there
Join us on April 29, 2026 at 6:30 PM (Eastern Time) for a thought-provoking event at the Klebanoff Auditorium & Judge Science Center Lobby at Endicott College. We'll dive into the reality behind the idea of a safety net and explore what happens when the support you expect just isn't around. Come for a community conversation needed to better support our friends, families and neighbors struggling to maintain stability - you won’t want to miss it!
This year Family Promise is centered on education, action, and fundraising that will maximize impact on these families' lives. In honor of that, this panel event will be followed by a virtual Day of Giving on April 30th, we will raise funds all day online to continue running our programs and serving families of Essex County. Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated. We hope that these conversations will help our community better understand the housing challenges families face and offer meaningful ways to respond.
