Paul Noffsinger's The Mystery Collection is what happens when a magic show stops pretending it's a magic show. There are no rabbits. No linking rings. What there is: genuine artifacts with genuinely unsettling histories, stories that have no business being as compelling as they are, and a performer who has spent decades collecting both the objects and the knowledge to make you question what, exactly, you just witnessed.
It's been called mystery entertainment, which is accurate the way "slightly complicated" is accurate for a haunting. The show has played everywhere from a train in Peru to sold-out runs on Bourbon Street, from the Stanley Hotel (yes, that one) to the Lord Baltimore, and the audience always ends up in roughly the same place: somewhere between fascinated and deeply uncertain about walking to their car alone.
Noffsinger has consulted for television, film, and some of the biggest names in magic. He's also a historian, a collector of bizarre and weird objects, and someone who clearly finds the paranormal far more interesting than any card trick.
