The Music Within

Over the course of this workshop, through warm-ups, games, and creative invitations, participants will be guided into the exciting worlds of Collaborative Vocal Improvisation (creating music together as a group) and Circle Singing (improvising music individually for the group to sing).

This practice—based on the beautiful work of Guillermo Rozenthuler—is about creating spaces of freedom where we can express and celebrate the music we each hold inside us, without worrying about beauty, harmony, or perfection.

is a French-Irish multidisciplinary artist, musician, and storyteller based in the West of Ireland.

• As a storyteller, she shares traditional stories in schools, libraries, and festivals.
• As a visual artist, she brings her personal story to a mythical level through paintings, sculptures, and comics.
• As a musician, she studies, teaches, and performs traditional music from Georgia and Zimbabwe, and facilitates Collaborative Vocal Improvisation and Circle Singing.

Open to all, no musical experience required.
