For a third time, the historic Newtown Theatre will present The Music of The Band featuring Professor Louie and The Crowmatix with The Woodstock Horns.
The Grammy-nominated Professor Louie and The Crowmatix have been performing together since 2000. Louie collaborated with The Band for more than 16 years, producing the group’s last three albums and playing on and producing their comeback hit, Atlantic City. A seasoned live performer, prolific recording artist, and versatile multi-instrumentalist, he has emerged in the music industry as the torchbearer of the true spirit of American Roots music.
This concert will feature a diverse set list with songs from The Band, but also some Bob Dylan and original music by Professor Louie and The Crowmatix.
