This special concert will bring together an all-star group of local musicians to celebrate the music of the Traveling Wilburys, a British-American roots rock band that has been described as “perhaps the biggest supergroup of all time.”The Traveling Wilburys formed in 1988 and was made up of George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty.
The Newtown Theatre’s one-night-only tribute will include a house band made up of Brian Dale Allen Strouse, Dallas Hosey, Joe Hosey, Josh Friedman, Luke Rinz, and Will Hosey.
It will also feature a host of special guests, including Chris Radwanski, Justin Pope, Therese Corcoran and others, bringing their unique style to the Wilburys’ classic songs.
