About this Event
We're back with another installment of our powerful, family-friendly dance and drum series rooted in the rhythms and traditions of West Africa! Workshops are open to all levels (ages 10+).
Aziz is a celebrated dancer, choreographer, and teacher from Senegal, West Africa, specializing in the vibrant rhythms and movements of his homeland. In 2005, he founded Dance Africa Teranga, performing across Senegal and throughout Europe to share the beauty of Senegalese dance with the world. Known for his dynamic energy and warm, encouraging teaching style, Aziz invites dancers of all levels to feel the drum, embrace the joy of movement, and let the music flow through every step.
