Blending music, family history, and moth lore, The MOTH PROJECT brings art and science together in entirely original and unexpected ways.The 70 minute show features two musicians performing a genre-defying range of music – from Bach to Joni Mitchell to KISS to original songs – while a stunningly integrated visual tour of images are projected onto them, enveloping them into a strange and remarkable world. Between songs, a narrative arc traces the parallel journeys of a moth’s life cycle and one family’s migration to North America.
