About this Event

This FREE event helps families understand the importance of career counseling and aptitude testing with Dana Reeder, a thought leader in the field from Reeder Consulting: College & Career Paths. Learn about different assessments and testing that help individuals identify ideal careers based on who they are, what they like, and most importantly, how their brains process information as it relates to careers that are perfect fits. Whether your young adult is college-bound or looking for alternative career pathways, this is for you. A free full testing and review session, worth $1195, will be raffled off.

Thursday, May 14th at 5:30 p.m. at The Lumina Theater in Chapel Hill, NC.

Event Hosted/Sponsored by: Alison Britt

Dana Reeder is CEO and founder of Reeder Consulting: College & Career Paths. Dana holds a M.Ed. in guidance and counseling, is a “specialist” by aptitude in career counseling and is passionate the missing component in formal career development is aptitude testing; how the brain processes information combined with in-depth analysis. Reeder Consulting uses a comprehensive decision-making approach working with individuals 14+ throughout the US to help identify careers aligned with their abilities, passion, and personality. Dana serves on numerous school district and university advisory boards, championing formal career exploration.

Dana is a requested guest speaker at local high schools, workforce development events, and large engagements such as The Laura Bush Institute for Women’s Health Girls’ Night Out. In addition, Dana has lived internationally for six years, traveling to over 45 countries, which makes her passionate about the importance of being a global citizen, especially in today’s times. Selecting a career is the most important decision a young adult will make, however, it’s the least amount of time given in the college and career discussions. She’s committed to helping young adults expand their worldview, maintain a healthy mental balance with the college stress and "Proceed with Confidence" on the path that is ideal for them.
