Artists Against Apartheid & The Midnight Hour Collective present: a generative poetry workshop and salon centered on domestic and global liberation, led by Courtney Symone Staton. Come gather in community to write towards Black liberation and the liberation of Palestine, Sudan, the Congo, and an end to American militarism.
This workshop is free to attend. Poets are encouraged but not required to read their work at The Midnight Hour: Reading for Revolution, a related, pay-what-you-can reading series. All proceeds for Series 1 go to the Oakland People's Arms Embargo & Anti-Police Terror Project.
