As part of a highly selective, extremely well-considered three-date Tasmanian tour, The Mean Times will be haunting Hobart this February with 3 different shows across 3 very different venues.
This set of shows forms part of the Feel More Dumb album tour, celebrating the band’s new(ish) record - a collection of songs about getting older, knowing better, and doing it anyway.
Produced by Anna Laverty, the album sits somewhere between power pop, garage rock and mild existential concern, and has been described by no one yet as “surprisingly competent.”
Expect earnest guitars, economical choruses, and lyrics that suggest growth while quietly undermining it.
Get along to any or all of these and you'll likely be doing better than the band themselves.
