About this Event
Theme: Centering Black Stories in Care
This conference centres the personal experiences of Black patients, health professionals, and community leaders. Speakers share their journeys in healthcare, including the paths they took, the barriers they faced, and what those experiences reveal about care, prevention, and representation. By grounding discussion in lived experience, the conference highlights how mental, physical, and social health are shaped and how Black stories can inform better practice, stronger policy, and improved health outcomes.
