The Matcha Lounge | Popup & Workshops @ Waterworks

Maker Matcha is taking over the East Annex Lounge at Waterworks for a full day of matcha bar service.

Try Maker’s fall drinks, now available in both hot and iced — including our Pumpkin Pie Matcha with Coconut Cream and our Maple Chai Matcha Latte — along with our classic and beloved Wild Blueberry.

Hang around, there's plenty of seating, tables and WiFi. Connect with other matcha fans or bring a group of your own.

Activities & Workshop

• 11 AM — 12 PM | Family-friendly matcha latte demo and tasting for parents/guardians, and free lemonade and colouring activity for kids (Free, Registration Required).
• 4—5:30 PM | A full matcha workshop experience. Learn the basics of making making matcha, and take home tools to add this ritual. Includes all supplies plus a Waterworks Food Hall gift card to enjoy after. (Purchase Tickets on this page).

The East Annex Lounge is a place to gather and linger. Located on the main level of the Waterworks Food Hall and tucked discreetly away, the lounge is a nod to the speakeasy bars of the 1930s and features tufted leather banquette seating, marble tabletops and plush club chairs. With its warm ambiance, full-service built-in bar, and access to our walk-out patio, this event space is the ideal venue for gatherings — conversations over matcha, and matcha workshops for all.
