We always love to showcase emerging UK blues talent, and so we’re delighted to welcome Mat Day to The Bear Club for the first time with his own band. You might have caught Mat playing here with Will Wilde at his awesome pre-Christmas gig, and he has long been the lead guitarist for award-nominated songwriter and producer Greg Coulson. His influences range from Robben Ford and Marcus King to Miles Davis and John Coltrane, resulting in a fresh, soulful crossover sound that still respects blues tradition.
