The Mary Onettes are Swedish dream-pop stalwarts blending melancholic melodies, cinematic textures, and heartfelt songwriting. Formed in Jönköping in 2000, the band rose to international recognition with their self-titled debut in 2007, earning praise from Pitchfork, Stereogum, and The Guardian. Known for their lush, nostalgic sound, they’ve released a string of acclaimed albums and singles, with their music featured in shows like Grey’s Anatomy and most recently Netflix Japan’s First Love (2022), which sparked a global rediscovery of their work.
