About this Event
The Maker’s Table | A Winemaker Dinner Series at the Portland Art Museum.
Art, Wine, and Conversation
Portland Art Museum Venues invites you to The Maker’s Table - an intimate evening series bringing together Oregon winemakers and visual artists for a one-of-a-kind experience of wine, art and conversation.
Held after hours in the Museum’s stunning new Rothko Pavillion, each evening explores the creative process behind both disciplines. Guests are invited not to simply taste and observe, but to engage; discovering how inspiration takes shape, how tension fuels beauty, and how artistry evolves over time.
This season of our Maker’s Table Series will include five unforgettable events - each featuring a different visual artist represented by the Portland Art Museum’s Rental Sales Gallery paired with an Oregon winery.
Guests may choose from three experiences: the Walk-around Tasting Experience, the Seated Winemaker Dinner, or for the , which includes tickets to all five events.
Featured Winery: Antica Terra | Winemaker Maggie Harrison
Antica Terra is a biodynamic certified vineyard and creative center set on 188 acres of native oak woodland, gardens, and seasonal waterways in Oregon’s Eola Amity Hills. With just 34 acres planted to pinot noir and chardonnay, the winery produces fewer than 3,000 cases annually, guided by a deep commitment to intention and place.
Founded by winemaker Maggie Harrison, Antica Terra extends beyond the vineyard to include a regenerative teaching farm, art center, and culinary program. Each element, vineyard, cellar, kitchen, and studio, serves as a site of ongoing inquiry, devoted to the pursuit of beauty and the principles that connect all forms of making.
Harrison’s work resists the separation of the technical from the poetic, embracing both with equal rigor. Her approach is grounded in attention, experimentation, and a reverence for process, creating wines that are as expressive as they are exacting.
