On the night of the Vernal Equinox, light and shadow stand in perfect balance.
This is the moment of the threshold.
The inhale before emergence.
The quiet shift where winter loosens and the Maiden rises.
The Maiden’s Ascent is a high ceremonial rite marking the turning of the Wheel and the awakening current of spring. Guided by the 13 Moons Eclectic Coven, this ritual will be held in formal sacred container and approached with intention and reverence.
We will cast the circle.
We will call the elements.
We will consciously cross the balance point of the year together.
This is a focused ceremonial space intended for adults. Ritual wear is warmly encouraged — come adorned as you would for sacred work. Honour the threshold. Honour the season. Honour the flame.
Attendance is by donation (minimum $5), with all contributions supporting the ongoing operations and growth of The Witch’s Hearth.
No tickets are required. This rite is open to those who feel called to attend and step into circle with respect and readiness.
The Hearth will be lit.
The Wheel will turn.
The Maiden will rise.
We gather not only to welcome spring —
but to anchor the flame of the Hearth in Calgary.
