Mantra is a wonderful way to connect to deeper states of awareness and harmonies mind, body and soul. Join us to explore the vibration of sound as a tool for relaxation and progression towards change in attitudes and consciousness. We will experience a variety of different chants to discover the effects this ancient form of meditation has on you.
This workshop will explore Kriyas from the Kundalini tradition to experience mantra during asana practice, as a chakra meditation and as a ‘mini-Kirtan’
What are mantras?
Mantras are energy-based sounds that vibrate throughout the physical and subtle body.
Why Meditate through a Mantra?
Studies in sound symbolism suggest that vocal sounds have meaning whether we are aware of it or not. The ancient sounds of the pure phonetics of Sanskrit create energy vibrations that can replace negative energies with positive ones.
This workshop is the perfect place to start your Mantra journey and to understand the integral part Mantra can play in your yoga and mediation practice. Perfect for Beginners and anyone interested is sound and meditation.
