Please join Social Creative Workshops as we host a screening and panel Q+A for the sequel of one of the most important and impactful documentaries for all women.
Last year we featured “The (M) Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause” film which explores the hidden impact of menopause on women's lives. With evidence-based information, the film empowers women to make informed health decisions and aims to remove the stigma surrounding menopause and aging.
On March 24, we are thrilled to screen the second documentary, “The [M] Factor: Before the Pause.” ‘Before the Pause’ reveals the hidden reality of perimenopause through the voices of women whose lives are disrupted and dismissed. A teacher is told her symptoms are “all in her head” even as she struggles at home and in the classroom. A firefighter navigates heavy periods with no women’s bathroom in sight. Doctors themselves admit they lack the knowledge to adequately help the patients sitting in front of them. By centering these stories alongside leading experts, the film exposes a systemic blind spot and makes a powerful case for why early awareness can transform women’s health, careers, and sense of self. Produced by Women in the Room Productions and Take Flight Productions.
Following the screening we invite you to stay for an open Q&A with our panel of experts in their professional fields. Panelists include a perimenopause/menopause doctor, a sex therapist, a pelvic floor therapist, and a health coach/strength trainer.

Menopause has ramifications beyond just an individual woman’s well-being. The far-ranging results of women enduring untreated menopause include billions of dollars in lost wages, upended careers, family disruptions, and emotional chaos.
The women featured open up about their experiences and share their stories of enduring debilitating symptoms while being ignored, ridiculed and/or shamed—and left untreated.
Join us as we collectively empower the movement to change the culture and transform our future.
We need you to be a part of this viewing. We need to collectively learn, share, advocate, and educate all women no matter the age, stage, race or ethnicity. This involves you. Period. Please include your daughter, partner, mother, bestie, co-worker
