The Lynched Among Us is a performing arts production told through skits, music, dance and poetry by the wrongfully convicted themselvesThe Lynched Among Us is a series of true stories told through dramatized skits, music, dance, poetry and storytelling, and performed by the Voices of Injustice group--an arts and advocacy group comprised of 6 wrongfully convicted individuals in Cleveland, Ohio. In this theatrical production, the wrongfully convicted men share shocking glimpses of their journeys as they come in contact with the criminal justice system as falsely accused individuals, and are pushed through the system by bad actors. Based in a courtroom setting at CSU's Moot Courtroom, this production will highlight the systemic attitudes and practices that drive wrongful convictions, and will work to help each individual in attendance understand their role in the fight against it.
