On the Saturday of C2E2, April 12, from 8 PM to close, the folks behind the Minor Threats universe (Patton Oswalt, Jordan Blum, and a who's who of cool comic creators) as well as Silent E Productions, aka Charles Soule and Ryan Browne, the masterminds behind THE LUCKY DEVILS, EIGHT BILLION GENIES and CURSE WORDS are throwing a con party. We're doing it at Logan Arcade - a huge, beautiful barcade in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood (a quick Uber from the convention.)
Your party ticket includes a free drink ticket that will get you any of Logan's many local beers on tap (including Beer Hates Astronauts, the official brew of God Hates Astronauts, on tap courtesy of party sponsor Half Acre Brewing,) an incredible cocktail, wine or a non-alcoholic beverage of your choice. You'll also be able to get delicious eats from Fry Like An Eagle and play a selection of amazing arcade games and pinball tables (from the latest VR and co-op games to vintage favorites, many that literally cannot be found anywhere else). But that's not all! Superstar comedian and overall delight Patton Oswalt will emcee the evening, Charles Soule will be bringing his band all the way from New York City for a full-length live performance of his epic rock opera the CURSE WORDS CONCEPT ALBUM, there will be a live drawing event with superstar artists raffling off their original pieces, sponsored by Panel Punk - all in all, it's pretty hot business.
