THe cars need to start to gather at the London Gliding Club DunstableLU6 2JP before 10;30 am to assemble the cars, food and drink will be available. At 11:00 the mayor arrives to meet and greet the cars and drivers, ( great photo opportunity) at 12 noon the mayor will drop the flag to start the convoy we then drive through Ashridge and into Aldbury a real picture postcard of a place, At Aldbury we loop the village pond where we should have a group of photographers to take pictures of the cars Then leave Aldbury drive Past Tring to Wendover Woods The management there are welcoming The Loose Alliance with open arms to use Wendover Woods as our finish point on our Drive It Day on the 26th April. They are offering dedicated parking area for us to bring up to150 cars on hard standing, They are also offering food and drink stalls in our parking area, and within 4 minute walk a restaurant serving hot and cold food and drink. Also within 4 minutes walk are full facilities including disabled access toilets. They are slashing their usual parking fee to a minimum. Dogs are welcome.The Loose Alliance would like to invite other clubs and car groups to join us at Wendover Woods. You can either join us at our start point of the London Gliding Club in Dunstable where we will be flagged of by Mayor of Dunstable in full regalia at 12 noon. ( The mayor wishes to ride in the convoy in a classic car so we are looking for a volunteer) We are then driving in a convoy through Ashridge and down into Aldbury. In Aldbury there will be a group of Photographers to take pictures of your cars in the village. Then past Tring to Wendover Woods. Aiming to arrive at approximately 1pm, When we arrive more photographers will be there to take more pictures whilst we have a group picnic.
If your club wishes to plan their own Drive It Day route you are welcome to use Wendover Woods as your end point just arrive 1 pm and go to the designated area and join the fun.
If you wish to either start with us or go your own way to Wendover Woods You need to let us know at the Loose Alliance so we can arrange enough space. Any group or club joining us will have there own area for Gazebo etc. Let us know by E-Mail before 19th April Giving the number in your group on

You can also let us know at one of our regular events, The Loose Alliance/London Gliding Club Breakfast meet on the third Saturday of the month, or Loose Alliance/Dukes Hotel Breakfast meet on the last Saturday of the month.

The event is open to Any Make Any Model Any Year and Any Vehicle (must be road legal)
