About this Event
The Longevity Relay – 4th July | Moredon Sporting Hub
Get ready for something a little bit different this summer
4th July, running from 9am right through to 9pm – and yes, when we say relay, we mean proper relay.
The course is a 4.5-mile loop, starting on a closed-road cycle track for the first ¾ mile, before heading off-road along an old railway line, looping you around the beautiful Shaw Woods. A fast, scenic and varied route that keeps things interesting lap after lap.
You can take part as:SoloPairOr teams of 3, 4, 5 or 6. Each team will have an official relay baton, complete with a timing chip inside, and every lap must be handed over properly — teamwork, strategy and smooth changeovers all matter here.
Every entrant receives a medal. Prizes for each winning category.
All levels welcome — this is about participation, teamwork and longevity, not just speed. Whether you’re chasing a podium, taking on a personal challenge, or sharing the day with friends, clubmates or colleagues, this is a relay event designed to be inclusive, fun and memorable.
