The Longest Table - Pleasanton

Update 5/7/26: The planning team is thrilled with the interest of the community in attending The Longest Table Event on June 6. The event is currently at capacity, but if we receive cancelations we'll send out word the week prior to the event.

We're taking over Main Street with a Longest Table event in downtown Pleasanton. We will provide the tables and chairs. You bring everything needed for a picnic: good food, good friends, and good fun.

Longest Table is a nonprofit organization facilitating large-scale community picnics across the country. We are excited to partner with them on this event.

You're welcome to organize a table full of people, come as a smaller group, or come on your own and we'll seat you with others. All are welcome, but reservations are required. Please ensure you have one ticket for each person in your party (even the kids).

Guests should bring their own reusable utensils, plates, and napkins as well as food and drinks for your small group.

We look forward to seeing you on June 6.

We'll need lots of volunteers to make this celebration happen. Learn more about how you can get involved on our site.

If you'd like to volunteer as a Table Captain, here's what you need to know for registration:

• RSVP for 8-10 guests (including yourself).
• You're responsible! It is up to you to fill the table with family, friends, neighbors, coworkers and coordinate the food and (optional) table decor.
• We'll send you a Table Captain guide about a week before the event so you know where your group will be seated and what your role is that evening.
