About this Event
At the height of the sun, we gather in ceremony to reconnect with what is most true within us.
Through ceremonial cacao, sound, sacred repetition, and intentional presence, this Summer Solstice gathering invites us to soften fragmentation, open the heart, and stand more fully in the light of our own lives.
The solstice marks the longest day of the year — a threshold of illumination, vitality, and clarity. Together we will slow down, listen deeply, and honor what is ready to come into greater coherence within ourselves and our community.
Ceremonial cacao has been used for generations in cultures throughout Central and South America as a heart-centered plant medicine for connection, reflection, prayer, and community. Unlike sweetened hot chocolate, ceremonial cacao is prepared in its pure, minimally processed form and carries a rich, earthy, and naturally bitter flavor profile. It is nourishing, grounding, and gently stimulating due to naturally occurring compounds such as theobromine, which can increase circulation, support alertness, and create a sense of warmth and openness within the body.
This is not a psychedelic or intoxicating experience. At its core, we are simply gathering to share cacao intentionally and reverently in a ceremonial setting.
Throughout the evening, participants will be guided through a blend of cacao ritual, meditation, mantra, sound, reflection, and integration practices designed to support presence, emotional openness, and inner clarity.
What to Bring
• Water bottle
• Journal (optional)
• Comfortable clothing
• Pillow and blanket if desired
• Yoga mat or floor mat if you would like the option to lie down during portions of the ceremony
Please note that floor space is limited. If bringing a mat, we ask that it be no larger than a standard yoga mat and that participants remain mindful of shared space.
Chairs will be available for all participants, and we do encourage seated posture during the cacao portion of the ceremony when comfortable, as sitting upright can support grounding, breath, and energetic flow through the body. However, we also honor individual comfort and physical needs throughout the experience.
No prior experience with cacao ceremonies, meditation, or mantra practices is necessary. You are welcome exactly as you are.
We look forward to sharing this evening of warmth, reflection, music, and community with you at the turning point of the season.
