The solstice offers a natural pause - a chance to notice what’s present in your life, what’s coming into focus, and what you want to carry forward into the season ahead. Through a guided meditation and simple writing prompts, we’ll create space to slow down, reflect, and reset.
Held in the calm, book-filled atmosphere of the shop, this gathering is an invitation to step back and consider the story you’re living, surrounded by books that do that work every day.
No prior experience needed. Just come as you are!

Carney Heavey O’Brien is a certified mindfulness meditation teacher, trained through Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield’s Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program. Drawing on a daily practice rooted in mindfulness and reflection, she creates welcoming spaces for people to pause, get curious, and engage more deeply with their own experience.
