You'll leave inspired by the power of lifestyle medicine and ideas for how to make it a reality in your community. Lovely setting, great people, delicious home-made food. What you can expect on the day
- A overview of the evidence for lifestyle medicine including how it improves people's lives and long term health outcomes.
- An introduction to the pillars of lifestyle medicine: sleep, movement, nutrition, connections, managing stress, and purpose.
- An interactive workshop looking at the practicalities of delivering a course including design, recruitment, running a session, collecting data, pitfalls and how to avoid and learn from them.
- Ready-to-use lifestyle medicine “prescriptions” and resources for everyday practice.
- Opportunities to connect with a supportive network of like-minded leaders
- Movement sessions, great food, informal discussion, a lunchtime walk
