Troyka Mala return to close out the 'returners' series—chamber-folk and post-classical from a trio who know each other inside out. Sophie Wilsdon on clarinet, Naomi Hill on violin, Liam O'Connell on double bass. Three voices, three-part arrangements, and a deep affection for Balkan, Eastern European, and Middle Eastern traditions.
Last seen here in June 2023. Their chemistry comes from years playing together in Bristol's Troyka, now channelled into something quieter, more intricate, decidedly intimate.
