About this Event
Inspired by David Blyth’s Classical Metamorphosis sculptures at Gray’s 140, this hands-on workshop invites participants to explore how materials, form, and the landscape can transform both artwork and the maker. Using mask bases, shells, sand, and glue, participants will create wearable masks that reinterpret the sculptures and connect to Aberdeen’s coastal and fishing heritage.
There will also be the opportunity to photograph your creations within the gallery space, contributing to the ongoing Living Archive of the exhibition.
No previous experience is required, this workshop is practical, playful, and a chance to engage with materials, movement, and the exhibition in a new way.
Materials provided.
