About this Event
Dear East Texas, This summer, I am thrilled to present an exciting storytelling opportunity that you won't want to miss. Creative Arts Movement is hosting a one-day event titled "THE LIVES WE'VE LIVED" in Tyler, Texas. This dynamic two-hour gathering will showcase a diverse array of stories from individuals of all ages and backgrounds, featuring first-person accounts, tall tales, and historical narratives. Our aim is to unite the community through the art of storytelling while highlighting a variety of voices and perspectives that often go unheard. We are particularly eager to connect with storytellers who can share narratives that challenge conventional themes. Each story should be between 6 to 9 minutes long, and the event will take place at the Veretta & Jesse E. Ryder Performance and Fine Arts Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about sharing inclusive and impactful stories with new audiences. If you're interested in participating or would like further details, please reach out.
