This Halloween, let's do the Time Warp again! The show you've all been antici......pating is finally BACK! You are cordially invited to a most unconventional convention, hosted by the one-and-only Oakdene Community Centre! The LIVE Interactive Rocky Horror Picture Show Experience hits the main stage at 8pm on October 24th & 25th! Equal parts cult classic & live musical performance, this year marks the 50th year of this blazing fever dream, and we're making it special!Tails, sunglasses and fancy dress are highly encouraged, so come in costume, come as an Unconventional Conventionist, or come as one of the RHPS cast - just don't come late- the best costumes will score some amazing prizes! Tickets for this electric extravaganza will provide you with a specialty prop bag, and allow you to experience the infamous & beloved musical phenomenon while singing & dancing along. So, come enjoy this legendary film the way it was intended: throwing toast, heckling Brad and Janet at the top of your lungs, Time Warping in the aisles, and joining the cele.......bration!
What to wear: dress as an Unconventional Conventionist, one of the RHPS cast, in your seasonally-appropriate (but maybe a little inappropriate, wink wink) Halloween costume, or surprise us! This is an open-captioned screening for accessibility and sing-along needs.
Those interested in being part of the RHPS cast can come out to auditions on August 25th & 27th. We're seeking dancers & singers of ALL GENDERS (18+) to bring this creation to life. Those who are unable to make auditions should reach out to the director, Dany Rousseau, at [email protected]
