The Little Lasses of Appleton, Wisconsin’s annual shortbread sale is normally a sweet affair – but not for nine-year-old Little Lass Mackenzie. Driven by an all-consuming need to win the prize for this year’s top seller: tickets to see the 3 Warlocks—the hottest and most magical, wizard-themed boyband–live in concert, Mackenzie descends into a world of bad deeds and moral decay. With the help of her Wicked Webkin, Lady, Mackenzie embarks on a journey of lies, betrayals, and spontaneous cremation in this darkly comedic retelling of Macbeth.
NOTE: The Stavros Niarchos is located on the 5th floor. Doors will open at 7:15 PM, and the reading will begin at 7:30 PM.
