✨ Join us for a special JUNOfest edition of The Listening Party for a fascinating glimpse into how women and gender diverse producers listen, run sessions, guide artists, vocal produce, shape sound, and make records come to life.

Part audio showcase, part conversational interview, this intimate and interactive session brings acclaimed producers, a live audience, and a guiding host together in a welcoming atmosphere. It promises to be a fascinating glimpse into how women+ producers listen, run sessions, guide artists, vocal produce, shape sound and bring records to life.

The experience begins with individual features, followed by a looser collective exchange, and concludes with audience Q&A. Whether you create music, perform it, work in the industry, or simply love being in a room where sound, craft, and community meet - you are welcome here.

🕛 Doors open at 12:30 PM, session begins at 1:00 PM sharp. Ends 2PM.

Held at the stunning 📍 Catherine North Recording Studios in Hamilton, this gathering brings producers out from behind the board and into the spotlight before a live audience.

WHY?

While the number of women & gender diverse producers doing top shelf work is increasing exponentially, we don't yet see that growth percentage reflected in the mainsteam industry workforce - traditional thinking means the bias needle moves slowly.

Since launching in 2022, The Listening Party Music Producer Showcase Series (www.thelisteningparty.vip) has featured over 90 emerging and established producers from across Canada, with international activities in Sweden and Mexico. Our aim is simple: to create opportunities through awareness because You Can't Hire A Producer You Don't Know Exists.
