The Link Challenge:The Village Link connects all of Bury’s historical villages and is mainly on trail paths passing by a series of iconic landmarks, woodland and open meadow - truly showcasing the stunning green spaces around the town.
The route passes through the villages of Nangreaves, Holcombe, Hawkshaw, Affetside, Ainsworth and Greenmount.
Like all of our events, we look forward to completing the distance with the camaraderie of other like-minded people around you – if you choose so, our friendly guides will be running / hiking the whole route with you to offer a supportive pep talk when required. However, we also won’t be offended if you do want to push on ahead without us.
