The Limits of Thought: An Exploration
The session will be based on a dialogue between J Krishnamurti and David Bohm (see the link below).
It begins with the question - Why has mankind given such tremendous importance to thought?
Krishnamurti and Bohm agree that it could be because thought creates a feeling of security. Question is - How?
The dialogue explores different possibilities.
One thought incorrectly projects itself to be creative and intelligent.
Two thought creates an illusion of perception.
And three thought creates a centre separate from itself and attributes permanency to it.
Through our dialogue we will learn to explore these proposals and the nature and limits of thought.

PLEASE NOTE : The session which is usually held on EVERY THIRD SUNDAY morning at Lower Parel will not be held this month. Instead the above session will be held on Saturday 15th February at The Retreat House Bandra.
