Through innovative stagecraft, aerial rigging, and a dynamic cast of eight performers, the piece reimagines the timeless struggle between Light and Dark for our contemporary moment.
Inspired by the evocative soundtrack of The Last of Us Part II, the Light vs the Dark blends cinematic video game music with powerful physical storytelling. The stage is split in half as Light and Dark battle for territory. Ultimately, the show reveals that darkness cannot be defeated by aggression or hate, only displaced by more light and love.
In a time marked by division, uncertainty, and collective fatigue, the Light vs the Dark offers a message of hope and transformation. The work invites audiences to reflect on how compassion, creativity, and resilience can shift even the most entrenched struggles.
