The Light of Hope Returning by Shawn Kirchner is a folk oratorio that taps into the lush variety of American musical heritage featuring offerings of new carols and arrangements of familiar ones.Accompanying the music will be the hand-drawn animations of celebrated New York-based Syrian-American artist Kevork Mourad who is well-known for his collaborations with classical musicians including Yo-Yo Ma’s Silkroad.
