Formed in 2003, The Licks have been keeping the spirit, swagger, and sound of The Rolling Stones alive and loud across the Kansas City area for over two decades. With a deep love for the world’s greatest rock ‘n’ roll band, The Licks dive headfirst into the full Rolling Stones catalog—from gritty early hits to deep album cuts and iconic anthems that defined generations.
Led by longtime bandmates John Ammatelli, George Kopp, Cliff Gall, Patrick Watkins, and Frank Enright, The Licks bring the raw energy, musicianship, and unmistakable vibe that Stones fans crave. Over the years, the band has lit up charity events, packed bars, rocked private parties, and turned restaurant patios into rock shows all across KC.
A career highlight? Sharing the stage with legendary Stones saxophonist Bobby Keys—the man behind the iconic "Brown Sugar" solo and co-writer of the unforgettable riff on “Bitch.”
