About this Event
Join Us for The Leyline Almanac Book Talk!
The Leyline Almanac is an annual planner that teaches cosmic geography—the practice of understanding WHERE we are matters as much as WHEN we're there.
Inside the book:
- 12 pre-colonial sacred sites from Göbekli Tepe to Great Zimbabwe.
- Global independence dates tracked across zodiacal seasons.
- Elemental Triangulation as a tool for actualizing goals over an 8-month period, and more.
Saki Savavi is a Writer, Filmmaker & Liberation Cartographer bridging decolonial geography, desert ceremony, and cosmic timing and author of the Leyline Almanac.
Tamara Downes is the founder of The Phoenix Palms, a cultural design house preserving African Diasporic aesthetic intelligence through art, archive, and living culture and illustrator of the Leyline Almanac.
Join us as Saki and Tamara explore how this almanac emerged from years of counter-cartographic practice, desert ceremony, and the question: what does liberation look like on a map? Together, they'll unpack how maps become arguments, how sacred sites hold memory, and how cosmic timing intersects with liberation movements worldwide.
