Join us every Wednesday at Noon PDT beginning Sept 11, 2024 as we journey through the life and letters of Paul the Apostle.
About this Event

Beginning September 11, 2024 we are focusing our attention on the letters of Paul the Apostle. His letters make up almost half of the New Testament and are considered by most Bible scholars, across denominational and ecclesial ties, to be one of the most significant contributions to Christian thought over the last two millennia.

And in light of the central role they play in New Testament studies, his letters are often found looming large in the middle of just about any religious controversy.

We will explore Thessalonians, Ephesians, Colossians, and Philemon. There are reasons we've chosen to discuss these letters in this order, but you'll have to come to find out why!

Like our previous discussions, this event will be a unique experience because we teach and discuss with a panel of six to eight highly qualified biblical scholars and theologians contributing insights and perspectives, not just an individual teacher.

Additionally, we are thrilled to welcome Dr. Douglas Campbell as a visiting panelist! Douglas has spent the bulk of his teaching career studying the works of Paul. We are grateful to have him join us for this discussion.

As usual, registrants will have unlimited access to stream the video recordings of the 23 week series. Each session will be available 48 hours after the live webinar. These recordings are free to all registrants but can only be obtained if you register by Sept 20. Otherwise, you will have to wait until April 2025 when they are available for purchase. We will also have audio-only files of the class which you will be able to download to your device.

A private Facebook page will be created where the class can continue the conversation. Panelists will also visit the page from time to time contributing to the discussion.

We invite you to join our panel each week as we journey into the letters of Paul.

*** An opportunity for graduate studies credit ***

Dr. Bradley Jersak will personally supervise qualified students who would like to earn three credit hours through St. Stephen's University's (SSU.ca) Master of Ministries program. The accredited cohort will be capped at 25 students, so if you are interested, please contact Brad before April 1 at [email protected].
