Hello Cowes, Hello Summer!… We’re going to be back for the season from Friday 22nd May! It's a bank holiday weekend so we are open Monday as well!!!
Viva Summer! we hear you say…at last the Lawn Bar will be open again on the beautiful lawns of Northwood House! It will be great to finally open the gates for summer weekends and we’re sure to be at the centre of Cowes summer socialising once again, as we have been for the last six summers.
Offering the largest outside licensed hospitality area in Cowes if not the whole Island, the Lawn Bar provides a perfect spot for guests to relax and soak up the sunshine with a drink…there’s always a chilled Balearic-style vibe to enjoy which has made us so popular. This year the Lawn Bar is sponsored by Musto, the UK's leading outdoor apparel brands...so look out for some great competitions and chances to wind some ultra cool clothing along the way.
With a range of great wines, gins, pitcher cocktails, an incredible margarita menu as well as trendy beers from Estrella Damm, the Lawn Bar provides a perfect social destination this summer for Islanders and visitors alike. Booking isn’t required, just come on down, as we’ve got plenty of tables…but if you want to reserve an inside seat send us a message on messenger.
This year we are delighted to partner once again with our friends from So Much Dough Wood Fired Pizza who will be providing delicious food to eat in (or take out) every day we are open this summer…so you can get great food and great drinks when you visit!
Opening times for The Lawn Bar in 2026 are confirmed as follows:
Fridays: 4pm-10pm for The After Work Social...the place where all of Cowes comes for after work drinks and general catch up after a long week at work. You've earned a drink, so come on down!
Saturdays: 2.30pm-10pm- for sunny Saturday socialising and our Sunset Pizza Club, with live acoustic music every week from 6pm from our favourite local duos. Don't miss the Margarita Cocktail Happy Hour with 3 for 2 between 5pm and 6pm, so come and get you're evening started here with us!
Sundays: 2.30pm-7.30pm- It's Siesta Sunday for chilled out Sunday socialising for all the family. The vibe is definitely Balearic and chilled...we'll be joined from time to time by local DJ's playing down tempo music, straight from the beach clubs of Ibiza.
There are children's games on the lawn too, so its the place to meet up with your besties and take some well deserved down time!
Make sure you join us at the Musto Lawn Bar this summer...we warmly welcome you along to the most relaxing outdoor socialising venue on the Island.
And look out for a huge August coming your way in 2026. As Cowes celebrates the 200th Anniversary of the famous Cowes Week Regatta, we'll be hosting loads of great party nights on the lawns...it's going to be EPIC!
The great thing about the Lawn Bar is that all profits raised go back to supporting Northwood House Charitable Trust in its mission to fully restore Northwood House and to provide Northwood Park for leisure and recreation for all local people. We do this on behalf of the Cowes Community and have working tirelessly since 2010 to do that. Every drink you buy helps us with those goals, so thank you!!

Weekend 12th-14th June- closed for Leblanq Joyride Festival
Weekend 19th-21st June-closed for IW Festival.
17th & 19th July-closed for private wedding events
