The Laurel Awards ! A new competition for comedians to showcase their best 5 minutes. The competition will run over 3 heats and will culminate with a grand final at the Britannia Panopticon in Glasgow, on the stage where a young Stan Laurel made his debut. The judges at the Final will be:
Tony Roper, writer of the Steamie, and famed for his role as Rab C Nesbitt's best pal, Jamsie Cotter
Stand-up veteran Graham Mackie who has appeared all over Glasgow as well as on BBC Radio Scotland's Call Kay, and The Fred MacAulay Show
Gavin Mitchell, actor and comedian perhaps best known as Boabby the Barman in Still Game.
