About this Event
A Men’s Mental Health Experience
Strength. Community. Movement. Conversation.
The Late Night Battle is a team-based fitness and running experience designed to bring people together through movement while continuing the conversation around men’s mental health.
This event represents the battles many people face late at night when the world gets quiet, the mind starts racing, and stress, pressure, isolation, and uncertainty begin to take over. Instead of facing those struggles alone, this experience is about moving through adversity together.
This is more than a workout.
It’s a test of teamwork, resilience, support, and community.
EVENT FORMAT
Participants will compete in teams of 4 athletes through a multi-stage fitness challenge across both Rize Fitness locations in downtown Vancouver.
Locations
• Start — Rize Fitness Coal Harbour- 1579 W Georgia St
• Finish — Rize Fitness Yaletown- 188 Smithe Street
PHASE 1 — THE FIRST BATTLE
The event begins at Rize Coal Harbour with a high-energy team fitness challenge.
Each athlete on the team will complete one workout station while teammates support and encourage them throughout the process.
Workout Stations
• Bench Press (male 135lbs & Female 85lbs)
• SkiErg
• Assault Bike
• Wall Balls
Each station lasts 90 seconds, with athletes competing for maximum reps or calories.
Scores from all four athletes will be combined to create the team’s total score before moving into the next phase.
THE RUN — THE TRANSITION
Once Phase 1 is complete, teams will begin a guided 4.77 km run along the Vancouver Seawall from Coal Harbour to Yaletown.
Each team will be paired with a pacer who will help guide the route, maintain pace, and keep the group moving together safely.
Along the route there will be:
• Safety volunteers
• Route checkpoints
• Water and recovery support
• Music and community energy throughout the course
This portion of the event symbolizes moving through struggle together instead of suffering in silence alone.
PHASE 2 — THE FINAL BATTLE
When teams arrive at Rize Yaletown, they will immediately begin the final challenge.
Final Stations
• Sled Push
• Burpees
Teams will work together relay-style to complete the final effort before scores are calculated and winners are announced.
This final phase represents finishing what you started and pushing through adversity together.

• Women’s
• Mixed (2 Men / 2 Women) Men's Weight will be used.

WHY THIS EVENT MATTERS
Many people struggle quietly with stress, pressure, anxiety, and emotional battles behind closed doors.
The Late Night Battle was created to remind people that:
• You do not have to carry everything alone
• Vulnerability is strength
• Community matters
• Movement can bring people together
A portion of proceeds from this event will support mental health initiatives and organizations helping men navigate mental health challenges.
