The Last Thursday Club takes place on the last Thursday of every month during the KFTS academic year. On these evenings, the school in collaboration with H20 opens its doors to the public. First-Year and International students present highlights and fragments of their work from the past month, offering a glimpse into their ongoing creative process. They are joined by graduates, teachers, and guest performers, who share short pieces of their own work.
KFTS leader Stuart Lynch works from a philosophy rooted in a 'learn by doing' approach, and you are warmly invited to witness an evening of shared exploration, creativity, and performance.
These evenings are also where students refine and develop the JUNGLE devising and improvisation process - an exclusive, copyrighted methodology created by Stuart Lynch for KFTS. JUNGLE supports students in cultivating instinctive improvisational and devising skills through a structured yet flexible framework that integrates body, voice, imagination, and psychological presence.
We invite you not only to be an audience member, but to help create a nurturing and supportive space?one where students step into the experience of performing, graduates return to share their latest projects, and the past and present of the KFTS and H2O community come together. And every now and then, you may even see a teacher step in to reveal a trick or two.
